Dr Myles Munroe’s Family Issues Statement at Press Conference

On November 12th, just three days after the fatal plane crash, the family of Dr. Myles and Pastor Ruth Munroe held a press conference in the ballroom at the Grand Lucayan Hotel. See Video below:

Press were asked to decline from questioning in light of the difficult loss they have endured.

Giving welcome remarks was Jerome Edmonson. He then introduced the son of Rev. Munroe, Chairo (Myles Jr.) who read a statement surrounded by his family. Later Jamaican minister, Dr Peter Morgan, President of the International Third World Leaders Association gave some words.

“We are not sure how or why, something like this would be allowed to happen to such great individuals, but still, God is in control. The past few days have been the most difficult times for my sister and I, my family and all of those affected by this loss.”

“We are all saddened by this tragic event, but we are comforted and encouraged by the outpouring of love and support from everyone around the country and those around the world at large,” said Munroe.

  1. My condolence to the Munroe family on the lost of Dr. Myles Munroe and wife Pastor Ruth Munroe. They were such great people that the world will live to remember them for their great teachings about the Kingdom of God. I loved these great mentors so much that they will forever be in my heart and mind
Adieu Dr Myles Munroe and Pastor Ruth Munroe
To the Munroe family, may the Lord Gog Almighty comfort and strengthen you all in this moment of grief.

  2. You’re all in my prayer but to be abscent in this body is to be present with the lord ,continue encouraging eachother as you all carry on from where Dr Monroe left off be strong in the lord and the power of his might ..BLESSING’S to the ministry …..Powerful word from the young man am truly moved by that speech .

  3. We all grieve with you for your loss, we need to keep things in perspective. Saying Dr. Monroe was a “great” man, ” he” did this, or “he” did that is wrong. God did it through him. All that he accomplished, it was the LORD that did it. Give the glory to the LORD!

    • Sure right, God is in control and there is hope, may you all be strengthened daily to continue fulfilling purpose.
