Prayer For Today – Prayer To Warm Up Your Faith!
Sometimes, it is easier to just “let God be” and do whatever is His will, than to trust that He will do what we ask of Him, in faith. It is easier to believe that God can heal you, than to trust that He will heal you.
I often find myself thinking that if God doesn’t do something for me, it must not be His will. However, the Bible encourages us to ask God for things in faith. It reminds us that we should not hesitate to bring our requests to Him.
John 14:14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
John 16:24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
Matthew 7:7-11 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
The Bible clearly shows that God is delighted in answering our prayers with a yes. All we need is just to trust in Him, and ask in faith, according to His will. WITHOUT WAVERING.
James 1:5-6 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
Is it God’s will for us to be healed? Absolutely! He wouldn’t have had to suffer on the cross if it wasn’t for our healing, because the Bible says that through His stripes, we are healed.
Is it God’s will for you to be free from afflictions, depression and anything that weighs you down? Of course! He says come unto me, you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. So, according to His will means according to His known will, which is His word.
Would you ask God for what you want today, without hesitation or doubt that maybe God doesn’t want to give it to you? Remember that He desires to answer your requests so that your joy may be complete.
Let Us Pray
Acknowledging The Coldness In Faith
Heavenly Father, Creator of the universe and sustainer of life, My God, today I recognize that my faith has grown cold. The fire that once burned bright within me, filling me with passion for Your Word, Your people, and Your presence, has dimmed. I find myself struggling to pray, to worship, and to trust in Your promises.
Lord, I confess this coldness in faith and ask for Your forgiveness. I long for a renewed relationship with You, a revival of my spirit that will once again set me ablaze with love for You. Help me, dear Father, to rediscover the passion and excitement I once had for Your Kingdom.
Romans 12:11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
Revelation 3:15-16 I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.
Seeking The Refiner’s Fire
Almighty God, Your Word speaks of refining fire that purifies and makes new. I long for that fire to consume the coldness in my faith, to burn away the doubts, fears, and complacency that have crept into my heart. I want to be on fire for You, Lord, passionate about Your Word, and eager to share Your love with others.
Lord Jesus, ignite my faith once again. Make me a vessel that burns with Your love, Your joy, Your peace. Let me be a light in this dark world, reflecting Your glory and pointing others to You.
Malachi 3:2-3 But who can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the Lord.
1 Peter 1:7 So that the tested genuineness of your faith – more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire – may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Embracing The Warmth Of God’s Love
Omnipotent and Everlasting Father, Your love is the source of all warmth and life. I want to bask in Your love, to feel the warmth of Your embrace, and to know that I am Yours. Your love never fails, never gives up, never runs out on me.
Teach me, Holy Spirit, to abide in Your love, to rest in Your promises, and to trust in Your faithfulness. Let Your love permeate every part of my being, warming my faith, and drawing me closer to You.
Psalm 36:7 How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
Romans 5:5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Committing To Active Faith And Service
Dear Lord, I recognize that faith without works is dead. Warmth in faith is not just a feeling; it’s an active and living relationship with You. I commit to serving You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Let my faith be seen in my actions, my words, my thoughts, and my deeds.
Help me, Lord, to be Your hands and feet in this world, to serve others with love and compassion, to share Your gospel with boldness, and to live a life that is pleasing to You.
James 2:17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.
A Prayer Of Renewal
Mighty God, thank You for hearing my prayer today. I ask for a fresh anointing, a renewed passion, and a faith that is warm, vibrant, and alive. Rekindle the fire within me, Lord, that I may love You more, serve You better, and live for Your glory.
Thank you for Your endless grace and boundless love. Let my life be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may my faith be a beacon that draws others to You. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen!

I’ve been waiting for a husband and children for almost 40 years. I’ve moved around and such, still I can’t be found or find anyone who will love me. They pick up and leave. They try to circle back around. I am tired of it. Over it and ready to move away and move on. God has led my steps to moving back home with my family by blessing me with a gorgeous home, yet I feel empty. I am taking steps to be blessed, but I’m scared God doesn’t want to give me kids or a husband. I just want a guy who will love me and who loves Christ. Once he loves Christ he will ensure that our relationship is brought back to Gods throne. I want to raise our family up in God, but I can only get that if God sends it to me, so I ask in complete desperation that the Lord send me my husband and bless me with children. I am tired of waiting and time is running out for my eggs. God please hear me, bless me with my godly husband, love, care, truth, children, and help us to raise our family up in You. I also pray that I am blessed with a great job where ppl genuinely love me, uplift me, grow me, and support me. I am so tired of going through the wrong things. My flesh is failing. I can’t get the help I need and I need you Lord to fix everything in my life. May my life change to reflect You and Your goodness. Thank you Lord. Amen. Please pray for me ya’ll! I’m moving forward and moving on!

This is such a beautiful confirmation from the Lord to me. I belong to a wonderful community of believers. And we study the Bible every Monday – Friday. And afterwards I asked if there were anyone who needed prayers & I got a lot of ppl who really needed me to pray for them. So now I keep a running list of ppl who have asked me to pray for them. And now I come here for the daily prayer & I see this!! Thank you Lord Jesus Christ Almighty for how you love us & how you Minister unto us thru others!! I appreciate this website & everyone who is a part of it. I’m so grateful for this place where I can pray & mister to the Lord & also be ministered too. Father God, thank you for rest and protection during the past night. Thank you for blessing me with another day, the last day in 2023. Thank you for all you have done for us during the year. Your love, peace, forgiveness, protection, loving kindness and tender mercies were inexhaustible. You provided all that we needed, you were faithful to all your many promises despite my unfaithfulness. I do not have enough words to offer my sincere gratitude to you.
I surrender my life anew to you as I enter 2024. Guide and direct me Lord, for I recognize that I need you every minute of each day. I cannot do without you.
Help me to obey the promptings of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

I thank for you and am so grateful because you are still providing you are still making ways out even when I feel I’m struggling in my financial situation thank I know that my financial situation is partly my fault I am taking full responsibility for it right now Lord I need your help Lord I need learn how to control my spending so that am able to save for my future and give more to help build your kingdom and also help those who more in need but I can only do that not by my own strength but relying on your strength to help me and guide me I want be more responsible in my spending help me Lord Jesus and show me Amen
How I needed this today. I went to bed angry and woke up angry actually plotting revenge ;( Whilst reading this my heart wept and I could feel God’s presence. Father thank you for always coming to my aid, I love you with all my heart and I lay all my burdens and cares upon You – ❤️ 🙏
