Knowing that God is faithful, it really helps me to not be captivated by worry. But knowing that He will do what He has said, He will cause it to happen, whatever He has promised, and then it causes me to be less involved in worrying about a situation.Josh McDowell

We sometimes find ourselves worrying about various situations in our Christian walk.

Reading the Scriptures however, comforts us as we are reminded of God’s assurance not to worry but to trust Him completely.

I hope that these verses will help you through these stressful times and help you to keep your focus on the Lord. Wherever you are, meditate on God’s Word and His blessings.

Let Us Pray

Heavenly Father, doubt and worry fill my mind. I’m unable to shake off the daily worries.

My God, help me to truly let go and release it all into your hands. You are my God, and you promised that you will give me rest. I take your yoke, oh Lord, and seek your rest.

Being worried and anxious has been of no benefit. So, I take your peace and lay all that worries me at your feet. I trust in you Lord. I will not lean on my own understanding in trying to work out how you will deal with these issues.

Your thoughts are way above my thoughts. Therefore, I’ll be anxious about nothing. I’ll take it all to you in prayer, giving thanks for all you have blessed me with. I trust in you, Lord. Guard my heart and my mind. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!
